How did you become involved in the world of data?: 

Attended ICPSR summer program from 1974 etc. and then worked at ICPSR in 1977.  Became Social Science Data Librarian at University of California, Irvine in 1986.

What do you value most about your membership in IASSIST?: 

Ability to network and participate in outreach efforts.

What are some things you are working on currently?: 

Research data management.
